Steelers 2026 Week 7 Fantasy Football Report - Queen, Benton, and Dowdle Make the Top 100

It wasn't their prettiest performance, but the Pittsburgh Steelers improved to 5-2 with a win over the New Orleans Saints in the NFL's first-ever game in Paris, France.

In Week 6, it was the offence that carried the day in an overtime victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This week, the Steelers' defence took centre stage, delivering a dominant performance that not only secured the win, but also proved invaluable for fantasy football managers.

🔥 Fantasy Movers

Patrick Queen - LB

Despite the criticism he's faced this season, veteran linebacker Patrick Queen continues to make his presence felt in a variety of ways. In the Steelers' Week 7 victory over the Saints, Queen stuffed the stat sheet, recording a team-high 10 tackles, a sack, and a pass deflection.

His impact wasn't limited to the field. After falling out of the top 100 fantasy performers, Queen received a significant boost in the rankings, debuting this week at LB42 with 45.3 fantasy points. If he can continue producing at this level, fantasy managers could soon find themselves with a reliable contributor at the linebacker position.

Keeanu Benton - DT

Steelers defensive lineman Keeanu Benton may be one of the most underrated contributors on the roster and at his position across the league. Over the past two games, Benton has been filling up the stat sheet with tackles for loss, sacks, and pass deflections.

He continued that strong stretch in the Steelers' Week 7 win over the Saints, recording four tackles, two tackles for loss, and a pass deflection. The performance was enough to earn him his first appearance inside the top 100 fantasy rankings, checking in at DL62 with 23.5 fantasy points.

Given his recent production and upward trajectory, Benton is emerging as a worthwhile waiver-wire addition for fantasy managers looking to strengthen their defensive line.

Rico Dowdle - RB

In a season that has been hampered by injuries, running back Rico Dowdle finally had an opportunity to show what he can do when healthy. While much of the spotlight has been on Jaylen Warren, Dowdle proved his value as a versatile weapon, contributing both on the ground and through the air.

By the final whistle, Dowdle had amassed 85 total yards, including 45 receiving yards and 41 rushing yards. His well-rounded performance earned him a significant jump in the fantasy rankings, debuting at RB49 with 33.0 fantasy points.

Payton Wilson - LB

If we were handing out the Steelers' "Hot Stock of the Week" award, it would go to linebacker Payton Wilson. When it comes to stuffing the stat sheet, few players on the roster can match Wilson's level of production.

In Pittsburgh's win over the Saints, Wilson once again made his presence felt, finishing with six tackles, an interception, and a pass deflection. Although he slipped one spot in the rankings this week to LB9, Wilson still sits among the elite fantasy linebackers with 63.4 fantasy points.

Simply put, Wilson has been one of the most consistent fantasy producers all season. If he's somehow still available in your league, now is the time to add him before someone else does.
