Saturday Night Lights — much like Friday Night Lights during the Mike Tomlin era — is a time when football and family come together for one evening.

After inclement weather closed off practice yesterday, thousands of fans packed the stands at Latrobe Memorial Stadium, many clamoring to get autographs from their favorite players, including head coach Mike McCarthy. The Steelers arrived in classic yellow school buses, adding a nostalgic, small‑town charm to the evening.

This year's Saturday Night Lights storylines include - rookie standouts on defense, a former first‑round pick seeking redemption, and execution issues.

Injury Report

As confirmed yesterday by head coach McCarthy, both rookie offensive lineman Max Iheanachor (neck) and cornerback Brandin Echols (ankle) were sidelined, with the likelihood of returning on Monday.
