After suffering a calf injury during Friday’s practice, it initially appeared he would be unavailable for the Pittsburgh Steelers’ pivotal Monday night matchup against the Miami Dolphins.

However, the outlook shifted on Saturday when Austin III participated fully in practice, according to an update from PennLive’s Nick Farabaugh.

With the latest update, signs now point toward Austin III being available for Monday night’s matchup. Had he been unable to go, second‑year receiver Roman Wilson likely would have stepped into the role. Instead, Wilson may find himself listed as inactive, with the Steelers expected to lean on veteran wideouts Adam Thielen and Marquez Valdes‑Scantling.

Austin III has already missed three games this season after suffering a shoulder injury during the Steelers’ Week 4 contest against the Minnesota Vikings in Dublin, Ireland. Through 11 appearances, he has recorded 309 receiving yards on 27 catches and two touchdowns.
