Week 7 Fantasy Football Recap: Jack and Heyward Climb The Charts

There are few defenders this season who have been as productive on the field as Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Myles Jack. Jack currently sits 8th in the NFL in total tackles (68) and solo tackles (42).
In their 16-10 loss to the Miami Dolphins this past Sunday, Jack accounted for 10 tackles and 1.5 stuffs. His continuous production has resulted in him moving up the fantasy football chart. This week, Jack has moved up to the 18th spot among linebackers with 90.6 fantasy points, according to fantasypros.com. For the first time this season, he has surpassed edge rusher Alex Highsmith, who fell to No. 25 with 82.9 fantasy points. At one point, Highsmith was in the top spot among linebackers. Inconsistency and minimal productivity have resulted in him falling down the charts.
Jack was not the only player on defense to climb the charts. Veteran defensive lineman Cameron Heyward moved up three spots to No. 21 with 61.4 fantasy points. Heyward had a strong performance against the Dolphins, as he finished with four solo tackles and a stuff. Cornerback Cameron Sutton returned from injury and had a strong showing, as he finished with an overall grade of 79.6, according to Pro Football Focus. Sutton currently sits 99th among defensive backs with 46.3 fantasy points.
On offense, tight end Pat Freiermuth continues to be one of the most productive tight ends in the NFL. Against the Dolphins, he collected 8 receptions for 75 yards with an 88.9 catch percentage. For his efforts, Freiermuth moved to the 11th spot among tight ends with 37 fantasy points.
Among Steelers receivers, rookie George Pickens is currently ahead at No. 44 with 39.9 fantasy points. Two spots below are Chase Claypool with 38.1 fantasy points and Diontae Johnson at No. 48 with 37.9 fantasy points.
