Week 4 Fantasy Football Recap: Pickett Makes The List





Rookie Kenny Pickett made his debut in the second half of the Pittsburgh Steelers' loss to the Jets and quickly made an impact.


Despite throwing three interceptions, he recorded two touchdowns and earned 15.3 fantasy points in the process, according to fantasypros.com. Pickett currently ranks 34th among quarterbacks in fantasy points, while fellow quarterback Mitch Trubisky ranks 29th with 42.6.With the announcement of the team going forward with Pickett as their starting quarterback, one should expect him to surpass Trubisky in points sooner than later.


Pickett's favorite target, rookie receiver George Pickens, finished with 102 receiving yards on six receptions. For his efforts, Pickens moved to the 56th spot with 16.7 fantasy points. Despite finishing with just 11 receiving yards, Diontae Johnson continues to lead all Steelers receivers in fantasy points with 23.8.


Tight end Pat Freiermuth continues to be one of the most efficient pass catchers at his position, as he registered a career high of 85 receiving yards against the Jets. Freiermuth currently sits eighth among tight ends with 28.3 fantasy points.


On defense, Minkah Fitzpatrick continues to make a strong case as the league's top safety, collecting his third interception of the season on Sunday. He currently sits fourth among defensive backs with 65.3 fantasy points. Cornerback Cameron Sutton, who also registered an interception on Sunday, sits 60th with 34.8 fantasy points.


Despite falling from the No.1 spot, linebacker Alex Highsmith sits fourth among linebackers with 67.9 fantasy points, while Myles Jack is at No.16 with an impressive 57.6 fantasy points.
