Week 16 Steelers Postgame Report: Social Media Reaction

It was a snowy and cold night on Christmas Eve at Acrisure Stadium. It was a night in which the Pittsburgh Steelers celebrated the 50th anniversary of the "Immaculate Reception" play and the life of the late Franco Harris in an emotional halftime ceremony.

In the end, the Steelers gave their fans the best gift of all: hope, as they pulled out a 13-10 win over the Las Vegas Raiders, improving their record to 7-8 and keeping their playoff chances alive.

The story of this game was rookie Kenny Pickett, who engineered a masterful touchdown drive in the fourth quarter, capped off by fellow rookie George Pickens, to give the Steelers their first lead of the game. Pickett would finish with 244 passing yards on 26 completions and a touchdown.

Cornerback Cam Sutton would seal the win with an interception on the ensuing drive. From a symbolism standpoint, Sutton happened to fall on the team's 32-yard line, the same "32" worn by the late Franco Harris.

The emotional rollercoaster of this game on Christmas Eve night was felt by the entire Steelers fanbase.
