Week 15 Fantasy Football Recap: Diontae Johnson's Stock Rises

Though receiver Diontae Johnson has yet to record a touchdown this season, he has strung together a series of strong performances of late. In their win over the Carolina Panthers this past Sunday, Johnson registered his best output this season: 10 receptions for 98 receiving yards.
In the fantasy football world, his stock, per fantasypros.com, has risen six spots to No. 43 among receivers with 79 fantasy points. Above him, however, is rookie receiver George Pickens, who has a knack for making big-time receptions. After finishing with 53 yards and just two receptions Sunday, Pickens moved down two spots to No. 40 among receivers with 86.7 fantasy points.
At quarterback, veteran Mitch Trubisky had a solid outing against the Panthers, accounting for 179 passing yards and a rushing touchdown. For his efforts, Trubisky moved up to the 34th spot among quarterbacks with 78.88 fantasy points. Rookie Kenny Pickett, who sat out on Sunday due to precautionary reasons (concussion-related), still sits way ahead at No. 28 with 120.38 fantasy points.
Running back Najee Harris has seen his stock grow the last four weeks as he continues to build after a slow start to the season. His latest output saw him gain 86 yards on 24 carries, increasing his season total to 790 rushing yards. With all this noted, Harris moved up to the 15th spot among running backs with 141.7 fantasy points. Worth mentioning is backup Jaylen Warren at the 56th spot with 48.2 fantasy points. For this season, Warren has gained 244 yards on the ground and 178 receiving yards.
On defense, the Pittsburgh Steelers defense came through in a big way, recording four sacks, six tackles for loss, and six quarterback hits. Leading the way was veteran defensive lineman Cam Heyward, who finished with 1.5 sacks, three tackles, and two quarterback
hits. Despite his performance, Heyward still remains at No. 20 with 121.1 fantasy points.
Linebacker TJ Watt continues to build momentum with each passing week. Against the Panthers, Watt recorded 1.5 sacks with 2 tackles and 2 quarterback hits. Watt is currently in the 74th spot among linebackers with 84.6 fantasy points. Lastly, linebacker Alex Highsmith, who registered his team-leading 11th sack of the season this past Sunday, moved up to the 37th spot with 149.8 fantasy points.
