Week 10 Fantasy Football Recap: Highsmith Leads The Pack, Pickett Continues To Grow

In their Week 10 win over the New Orleans Saints, linebacker Alex Highsmith broke his sack drought in a big way, recording two of them. Despite not making any moves up the fantasy football points list among linebackers, his 111.2 fantasy points set him apart from all other players on the Pittsburgh Steelers roster. To put this in perspective, the next closest player to Highsmith on the roster is linebacker Myles Jack, who currently sits in 42nd with 94.4 points according to fantasypros.com.

One of the biggest stories was rookie quarterback Kenny Pickett, who earned his first career NFL win. His effort against the Saints included 199 passing yards, 51 rushing yards, and a rushing touchdown. Despite having a season filled with peaks and valleys, he currently sits 28th among quarterbacks with 77.4 points. With each game, Pickett continues to show growth in his overall game, which should bode well for him in the upcoming weeks.

When it comes to reliable players in the fantasy football world, few are better than Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth. After registering 36 yards on four receptions against the Saints, Freiermuth moved up to the 12th spot among tight ends with 46.3 points.

Running back Najee Harris registered his best performance of the season so far with 99 rushing yards on 20 carries. For his efforts, Harris moved up to the 29th spot (from No. 38 in Week 8) with 73.4 points.

In terms of defensive backs, cornerback Cameron Sutton registered his ninth pass defensed of the season against the Saints, yet he did not see much movement in the charts as he sits at 110th with 58.3 points. Damontae Kazee, who made his debut in a Steelers uniform, came away with 11.3 points after registering four tackles and an interception against the Saints. Lastly, cornerback Levi Wallace, who had a big game with an interception and two passes defensed, currently sits 146th with 46.2 points.
