TJ Watt's Presence Made An Immediate Impact

This season has been a long and arduous one for All-Pro linebacker TJ Watt.

In his first game since sustaining a pectoral injury in Week 1, Watt may not have registered any sacks or turnovers, but his presence seemingly made everyone around him better.

The Steelers' defense put together one of its best games since their Week 1 win against the Cincinnati Bengals. It was a performance that included two sacks, three turnovers, and four passes defensed. Most importantly, they relegated the New Orleans Saints to just 29 total rushing yards.

In his career, the Steelers are 54-24-2 when Watt plays a full game. As we say in this contest, his contagious energy fuels others around him to be at their best, and it showed against the Saints.

As the Steelers begin the second half of their season, the hole they put themselves in may be insurmountable. If the team is looking to make an improbable playoff run, Watt's presence alone could be what they need to have a fighting chance.
