Steelers Opening The Door For Stephon Tuitt's Return

One of the biggest questions for the Pittsburgh Steelers this offseason involves the future of veteran defensive lineman Stephon Tuitt, who missed the entire 2021 season due to the sudden passing of his brother and a knee injury that kept him on the team's injured reserve list.

At his press conference earlier this afternoon, Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert provided some insight on his status with the team, while leaving the door open for a potential return in 2022.

Based on reports, the team had already spoken to Tuitt and were open to welcoming him back. Considering the reports last month that his home in Pittsburgh was listed for sale, one can assume that they are cautiously optimistic that Tuitt will resume playing with the Steelers this upcoming season.
