Everything worked out perfectly for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

After day one of the 2021 NFL Draft, the Steelers got the man they coveted since January; Alabama running back Najee Harris. Harris, had been linked to the team from the very beginning by several Draft pundits, and had connected several times with head coach Mike Tomlin prior to the Draft.

Last season, Harris was the starting running back on a 2020 Crimson Tide squad that won the National Champion in convincing fashion over Ohio State. Harris himself finished third in the nation with 1,466 rushing yards on 251 attempts, and contributed 26 rushing touchdowns while averaging 5.8 yards per carry.
