Steelers Find Their Future Franchise Quarterback in Kenny Pickett

With all the top quarterbacks available, which included names such as Malik Willis and Matt Corral, the Pittsburgh Steelers selected Kenny Pickett with the 20th overall pick.
Of the quarterbacks in this year's class, Pickett had the most experience and was arguably the most productive in this year's Draft class.
This past season, Pickett was a Heisman Trophy finalist, as he registered 4,319 passing yards and 42 touchdowns with just seven interceptions. In five years with the University of Pittsburgh, Pickett accumulated 12,303 passing yards on 1,045 completions and 81 career touchdown passes, all of them all-time school records.
Pickett joins a somewhat crowded quarterback room that includes newly-signed Mitch Trubisky and 2018 third-round pick Mason Rudolph.
