This past season was a breakout of sorts for fourth-year receiver/kick returner Ray-Ray McCloud.
During the latter portion of the season, McCloud played a crucial role in their playoff run, most notably against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 18, as he contributed with clutch plays in overtime, leading to their big win against the Ravens to end the season.
This offseason could see major changes to the Pittsburgh Steelers' group of receivers, with the possibility of James Washington leaving for greener pastures and reports of fan-favorite Juju Smith-Schuster showing interest in joining the Kansas City Chiefs. If their departures were to take place, this would allow McCloud to earn a full-time spot in their diminished receiving corps.
McCloud set career highs in receptions and receiving yards while performing punt and kick return duties in 16 games this past season. Even with the likelihood of the team adding new receivers through free agency or this year's NFL Draft, McCloud is still in the right position to become a major contributor on offense going forward.
