Parker Washington Had A Good Meeting With The Steelers

Updated: Mar 3

For Penn State receiver Parker Washington, going back to Pennsylvania would be a great way to start his NFL career.

During his press conference on Friday in Indianapolis, Washington revealed that he had a formal meeting with the Steelers this past weekend, one which he described as a "good interaction."

For the last decade, the Steelers have been exemplary at identifying receivers in the draft and transforming them into productive players. At 5'10, Washington may be better suited to play in the slot, but he has shown the ability to be just as productive on the outside with his speed and ball skills.

During his three years with Penn State, Washington accumulated 1,920 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns. Washington was ranked as the No. 5 prospect on Pro Football Focus' 2023 NFL Draft big board.
