Johnson's Status In Doubt For Week 1

With the Pittsburgh Steelers' first preseason game only a few days away, the team may be without one of their top players.

During his inaugural regular season weekly press conference, head coach Mike Tomlin noted that receiver Diontae Johnson's status for Week 1 would be determined during the course of the week.

In today's practice, Johnson was limited, as confirmed by ESPN NFL Nation reporter Brooke Pryor's tweet posted earlier this afternoon.

Johnson sustained a shoulder injury during their third preseason game against the Detroit Lions on August 28th, after going down hard following a 38-yard reception from quarterback Mitch Trubisky in the first quarter.
