The 2024 Indiana Hoosiers emerged as one of the most talked-about teams in college football, finishing with an impressive 11–2 record and securing a spot in the College Football Playoff.

Among the many offensive weapons on the Hoosiers' roster, one could argue that the most underrated was wide receiver Ke'Shawn Williams—a dynamic playmaker whose versatility and skill set made him an integral part of the team’s success last season.

Before transferring to Indiana, Williams was an underappreciated asset at Wake Forest. Over four seasons with the Demon Deacons, he amassed 1,385 receiving yards on 107 receptions, along with five touchdowns. His true value, however, was most evident on special teams, where he recorded 690 return yards and 10 tackles.

During his lone season with the Hoosiers, Williams saw limited action on special teams but made meaningful contributions on offense. In 13 games, he totaled 39 receptions for 448 receiving yards and five touchdowns. His standout performance came in Week 6 against Northwestern, when he posted a season-high 87 receiving yards and a touchdown. That week, Pro Football Focus graded him as the No. 1 wide receiver in the Big Ten and No. 2 across the Power Four conferences, with an impressive score of 92.3.

Looking ahead, Williams’ most likely path to earning a spot on the Pittsburgh Steelers roster will be through special teams. That said, his offensive potential may be showcased during this year’s training camp, potentially opening the door to expanded opportunities.
