2023 Steelers OTAs Report - Moore Jr. Takes First-Team Snaps At Left Tackle

On the official first day of the Steelers' organized team activities, third-year Dan Moore Jr. looked visibly bulkier as he put on seven pounds of muscle on his frame.
Fully aware the team moved up to take Georgia's Broderick Jones in the first round of this year's NFL Draft, Moore Jr. understood he could be unseated as the team's starting left tackle. By all accounts, Moore Jr. is focused on evolving as a player and letting the chips fall where they may.
“All I can do is focus on me and control what I can control, and that’s getting better every day.”
Per reports, Dan Moore Jr. took reps at first-team left tackle for the first day of OTAs. Even with this, he acknowledged that it was too early in the process to jump to any conclusions. For now, Moore Jr. is ready to work and take repetitions anywhere along the offensive line, including at right tackle.
“It’s kind of early now in the process to say anything,” he told TribLive writter Joe Rutter.
“I’ll just do what they tell me pretty much to do.”
