  • Good hips and transitions well from backpedal

  • Versatile enough to at nickel or on the outside

Weaknesses:

The biggest concern for Wade is his tackling. Whether he is disengaging from an opposing blocker or coming downhill, he is often too high or out of position to make an effective tackle. Needs to do a better job establishing a lower base. In coverage, Wade has a tendency of giving too much cushion which is often used against him. As a consequence, receivers can easily attack his leverage, which results in him getting out of position. Though he has some ball skills, he needs to improve his positioning when shadowing opposing receivers. In these instances, a greater emphasis needs to be made in turning and tracking the ball while it is in the air.
